Welcome back to my blog. I have a couple of cards I made recently for the
Tic Tac Toe challenge with my Stampin' Up team.
This was to create a birthday card.
I love the Beautifully Penned designer series paper, and I had been wanting to color
the black and white side of the paper.
I cut a piece of DSP at 4 ins x 5 1/4 ins and then used by blending brushes with
Bumblebee and Soft Succulent inks. I then cut it diagonally and placed it on white cardstock
leaving an opening to stamp the sentiment.
I added the gray ribbon and the gold sequins as a final touch.
I love how it turned out, but next time would probably leave a larger gap for the sentiment.
If you would like to case this card and need supplies, or supplies for anything else, please click on the Shop With Me link at the top of my blog.
Beautiful - and love how you blended the colors on the black and white DP, I never know what to do with the black and white papers, but now have a great idea. Pretty birthday card dear friend.
