Hello stamping friends! Welcome back to my blog and thanks for visiting.
I am here with a new card for the ABC challenge with my SU team.
This one was for the letter A, use accessories.
One of the new designer series papers from SU in the mini catalog is the Painted Christmas paper.
Some of the papers can be used for cards other than Christmas cards. One of them is this
pine cone paper. I just love it and fits perfectly with the autumn cards I am making.
Another new product is the Christmas Season bundle. The stamp set is pinecones and leaves and
the die set cuts them out.
I decided to make this card a fun fold card I had not made in a long time. I started with a piece of Early
Espresso card stock cut at 5 1/2 inches x 11 inches, and scored it at 3 7/8 inches and 8 1/8 inches.
I then cut a piece of crumb cake cardstock at 3 3/4 x 5 3/8 inches, and another at 2 3/4 x 5 3/8 inches.
The next layer is the DSP cut at 3 5/8 x 5 1/4 inches, and 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches. I layered all of these pieces to the 2 front panels of the card.
For the inside of the card I cut a piece of DSP at 4 x 5 1/4 and and Basic White cardstock at 3 3/4 x 5 1/8 inches. I added a piece of DSP cut at 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches to adhere at the bottom of the Basic White. I also added a die cut pine cone.
To hold the card closed and embellish the front I created a belly band 3/4 inch x 11 inches and added the label die cut from the Seasonal Labels along with the pine cones and leaves.
I love the outcome!! I hope you enjoyed it as well.
