Welcome to another DOswts Inspiration Hop! This week's hop is using the Retiform Technique.
This is a technique that is new to some of us, and what fun it was to learn it.
Be sure to stop by all the other bloggers listed at the bottom for lots more inspiration.

For my card for the hop I chose a stamp set we have had for a couple of years, the Sailing Home
stamp set. My nephew is in the Navy, and his birthday is this month so this is perfect.
I also used the Peaceful Moments stamp set for the sentiment.
It is a one layer card, I felt adding anything else to the card other than twine and a few gems, would be too much since the front of the card is busy.
If you look closely you will see that I tied the twine in multiple knots to match the Navy theme.
There are many YouTube videos available that show you how to do this technique, but I used one by Jackie Bolhuis. I would suggest watching one as it would take too long to list instructions here.
I hope you enjoy my card and all the cards on the Inspiration Hop!
If you would like to case this card and need supplies, or supplies for anything else, please click on the Shop With Me link at the top of my blog.
